Managing Director & Co-Founder, door2door

Maxim is CEO & Co-Founder of Germany's leading urban technology startup, Door2Door. He studied economics at Harvard, MIT & WHU and joined Royal Dutch/Shell’s strategy team in London, working on climate change scenarios. In 2005 he founded a university institute, the Reinhard-Mohn-Institute for Leadership & Governance. Two years later, Maxim was the youngest-ever appointed Vice-President and Managing Director of a German university. He then co-founded Door2Door, an award-winning Mobility-as-a-Service platform to source, analyzes & predict how people move in the city. Its core product - allygator shuttle - allows public transport operators to introduce on-demand shuttle buses that offer shared, efficient & quick rides in the city. The company empl 60+ employees and offices in Berlin, New York & Porto Alegre (Brazil). Maxim is board member & spokesperson for Berlin-Brandenburg of Germany’s association for digital industries - BITKOM - representing the growing Berlin startup ecosystem.
