Nikolaos Mavraganis

Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks, Greece

Nikolaos Mavraganis graduated from University of Athens Law School and was introduced in the active practice since 1996. During his professional career he has dealt with issues that concerned society, making legal interference with social acceptance. He practices law primarily in the supreme courts of the country, and has attended the legal affairs department of the European Parliament Petitions Committee. He is a founding member of the political party ANEXARTITI ELLINES (ANEL). The Leader of the party Panos Kammenos entrusted him the Documentation Secretariat of the party, being responsible for the drafting of legislation series, as “red” loans and others, which have influenced key economic, social and political life. In January 2015 after Mr. Kammenos’ proposal he was a candidate in parliamentary elections and was elected Member of the Parliament, a position which he held until September 2015. Despite non-elected in the elections of September 2015, his influence in Evia society, grew dynamically and continued to intervene in a number of social issues giving solutions to major problems. On November 5, 2016, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Infrastructure & Transport.
