Free public transport within Leipzig City
The City of Leipzig offers Summit delegates free public transport within Leipzig from Tuesday 30 May to Friday 2 June. Your 2017 Summit delegate badge serves as your public transport ticket. Until you collect your badge at the Summit venue, the official registration confirmation letter will serve as proof of your registration. Please note that you may be asked to show supporting valid photo identification.
- Tram (20 minutes ride, approx. 25 minutes in total)
Take tram no. 16 from Leipzig’s main train station to "Messegelände" (this is the terminus as well as the stop for Congress Center Leipzig). Trams run every 10 minutes. From the tram stop, it is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the main entrance of the conference centre.
- Suburban train (10 minutes ride, approx. 20 minutes in total) Take S-Bahn (rapid transit lines) S1, S2 or S5 from Leipzig’s main train station to "S-Bahnhof Messe" train station. Trains run every 15 minutes. From the train stop, it is a short walk (approx. 10 minutes) to the main entrance of the conference centre.

- Mini-bus Shuttle (20-25 minutes)
Delegates are offered free mini-bus shuttles between the official hotels and Congress Center Leipzig during the Summit programme days. Please see the Summit Help Desk at your hotel. Detailed description of the offer
- Taxi (20 minutes)
A taxi will take you to Congress Center Leipzig along the same route as the mini-bus shuttle. Please note that costs are not covered by the Summit organiser.
- Car (20 minutes)
Congress Center Leipzig is located on the A14 motorway (Dresden-Magdebur-Hannover). To get there, take either the "Messegelände" or "Leipzig Zentrum" exit. From Leipzig’s city centre take Federal Road B2. Parking is available at the conference centre (address: Seehauener Allee 1, 04356 Leipzig).
